1. Head to Faliraki beach and take part in some water sports

Distance from Rhodes town: 13km


Description: when it comes to water sports, the sport you want to do dictates how much it will cost you. Scuba diving and boat rental are more expensive options, meanwhile parasailing or hiring jet skis will cost you less. There are plenty of places to try out water sports, however, Faliraki has a huge range and is one of the most popular locations with tourists.


2. While in Faliraki, stop by the waterpark

Description: this nature reserve is famous for protecting the endangered tiger moth species that are native in the region. You can also see the hatchery as well as hundreds and thousands of other native creatures and caterpillars. Time your visit carefully and you could see the caterpillars transform into large colourful moths and butterflies at the end of the wet season.


4. Take a trip to Agathi Beach and discover the mysterious caves there
